Amanda G. Steneck

DVM, CVA, CVMMP, CVTP, CERP

Dr. Amanda is originally from Connecticut and grew up showing on the Quarter Horse circuit. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut, she continued on to attend the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University for her veterinary education. After graduation, Dr. Amanda completed a joint internship with the Internal Medicine department at the Tufts Hospital for Large Animals and Massachusetts Equine Clinic.

During her early years as an associate veterinarian, Dr. Amanda began looking for ways to enhance her practice when she found the Chi Institute. Dr. Amanda has taken numerous courses at the Chi Institute and is now certified in veterinary acupuncture (CVA), veterinary medical manipulation (animal “chiropractic”, CVMM), veterinary Tui-na (Chinese medical massage therapy, CVTP), and equine rehabilitation (CERP). The skills and knowledge Dr. Amanda has obtained from these courses have allowed her to have a unique perspective on equine lameness and health.

During her free time, Dr. Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, dogs (Piper and Tidwell), and her Appendix gelding (Moby).

Taylor Nestor

Technician

Taylor has always had a passion for caring for animals. From tending to her personal horses as a child to managing equine farms as an adult, she has always tried to expand her equine knowledge. This led to her current enrollment in the Penn Foster College veterinary technology program to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Taylor enjoys building relationships with both clients and patients as well as the thrill of never knowing what the day will bring in an equine veterinary practice.

In her free time, Taylor enjoys riding and spending time with her three horses: Reign, Wyatt, and Cadence. When she is not at the barn, she can be found hiking with her dog Ronan.

Matt Agnello

Practice Manager

Matt wears many different hats at Bayberry Equine, including practice manager, vehicle and building maintenance man, and the occasional vet assistant. Originally from Connecticut, Matt worked at several equine facilities performing farm maintenance, but gained most of his equine knowledge being married to Dr. Amanda. During the week, Matt teaches turf and landscape maintenance to high school students. When not teaching or working at Bayberry Equine, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and their dogs as well as saltwater fishing in the pursuit of anything that bites.
